Q. Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?

A. ON-LINE: We gladly accept all Major Credit Cards, including VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER & AMERICAN EXPRESS. We also acccept your Check Card or Debit Card with V/MC Logo. All Transactions are Processed using PayPal for Safe, Secure, Easy Online Payments.
MAIL ORDER: For Customers you prefer to pay with a Money Order or Cashiers Check, please contact us first so that we may provide you with a total and confirm your Shipping Address.

Q. Is my Credit Card and other information Secure?

A. YES. Our PayPal-enhanced Checkout Pages use 128-Bit Secure Sockets Layer Encryption (SSL). This Industry-Leading standard ensures that all your personal information is safe and secure by encrypting it during transit with the highest encryption level available to commercial web sites.

Q. What is your Return & Exchange Policy?

A. We unconditionally guarantee each and every item purchased on our web site. Should you not be satisfied with any item purchased on-line, please notify us within 15-days of receipt. We'll gladly Exchange your Item or issue a full Refund, less original Shipping & Handling charges. Please contact us to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns sent to us COD, Freight Collect or without an RA number will not be accepted.

Q. How will my items be shipped?

A. We now ship exclusively with the US Postal Service. We also ship via USPS Priority Mail for any and all Shipping Addresses to AK, HI, APO & FPO addresses. We ship most Orders either Same Day received, or next Business Day after the Order is received.

Q. By Ordering at HandCraftedPlaques.com web site, when will my items ship?

A. HandCraftedPlaques.com stock includes thousands and thousands of Plaques at all times. When you place an Order with us, your Plaque usually ships within 24-hours.
As our Products are Hand-Crafted, there will always be times when a given Plaque is temporarily Out-of-Stock.

Q. Are these Plaques really Hand-Crafted?

A. Yes. Each and every one of our Plaques is Hand-Crafted using top grade fine hardwoods. Obviously, this doesn’t mean that we whittle out an Emblem from tree branches in the back yard. Our Artists do utilize woodworking machines and tools designed for the task, but none of our machinery is automated or computer controlled. All of our tools are 100% controlled by the individual Artist, much as a surgeon controls his scalpel. There are no CNC machines, automated or cycle-controlled lathes.

Q. So what type of tools do you use?

A. Our Artists use a variety of woodworking machines, including Routers, Wood Shapers, Band Saws, Planers, Compound Miter Saws, Drill Presses and a variety of Sanders.

Q. How do I care for my Plaque? Should I use wax or furniture polish?

A. Our finish is permanent and maintenance-free. Caring for your Plaque consists of simply dusting it off with a soft cloth, feather duster, or the like. Should fingerprints start to build up, apply a very small amount of polish (not wax) to a soft cloth and wipe the Plaque to its original luster.

Q. What kinds of Wood are your Plaques made with?

A. HandCraftedPlaques.com uses only Top-Grade instrument-quality Mahogany, Rosewood, Walnut, Teak, Ebony and a dozen other fine hardwoods. Utilizing the Natural Beauty of the wood is part of what makes our Plaques so attractive.
Fine WoodArt requires more than just wood-handling skills; Wood Selection, knowledge of Wood Grains, Wood Joining, and the finish process itself all factor in to the presentation of the finished product.
