About Our Wood Art

Our Wooden Emblems & Plaques are 100% Hand-Crafted by our own Master Craftsmen. To Create our Wooden Military Plaques & Related Insignia, our Artists expertly blend several WoodArt Forms, including Wood Sculpting, Carving, Inlay, Wood Joining and Intarsia.

Each and every one of our Wooden Plaques is an Individual, Unique Work of Art. As with any Original Art Work, no two of our Plaques will be 100% identical. We use only All-Natural Woods to create our WoodArt. We do not use Colored Dyes or Stains; even the Stripes are Inlayed, not painted or glued on. This allows the Natural Beauty and Warmth of the Woods to create a beautiful and unique Work of Art.

Intarsia is an ancient Italian Art Form dating back over 800 years. Intarsia is truly pure Wood Art, created through the carving, sculpturing, finishing and joining of different woods, utilizing their unique natural colors and grains. Instead of stain or dyes, several different varieties of Woods will be used in each creation.

After carving, sanding and perfecting, the pieces are joined together with careful attention to the natural wood color and grain. After the piece meets the Artists' approval, we apply a polyurethane-based Liquid Glass for a permanent maintenance-free finish.

Our products are Hand-Made, using All-Natural Woods, with no wood stains, dye or paint (minor exceptions). To achieve the desired effect, image and character of the item, we will choose from a selection of 15 different woods. This allows the natural beauty and warmth of the woods to create a beautiful and unique item, which you will enjoy for years!
